About the Podcast

Parenting a child with disabilities or medical complexity can feel isolating—especially when you’re trying to find other families like yours and reliable resources you can trust.

This podcast exists to help parents of disabled and medically complex children connect with community, faith-filled encouragement, and practical resources that make everyday life a little less overwhelming. Through honest conversations, expert interviews, and shared stories, we support families navigating diagnoses like autism, ADHD, congenital CMV (cCMV), hearing loss, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and so much more.

If you’re searching for:

  • Support for parents of children with disabilities

  • Resources for disabled and medically complex children

  • Sibling support

  • Community for special needs parents

  • Faith-based encouragement

You’re in the right place.

Meet the Host

I’m Amber, a mom raising my 10-year-old son who was born with congenital CMV (cCMV) and lives with autism, ADHD, unilateral hearing loss, and intellectual disabilities. I know firsthand what it’s like to navigate therapies, IEPs, medical systems, public outings, and the emotional weight that comes with parenting a child with complex needs.

My hope is rooted in God and my sanity relies heavily on humor (and sarcasm). This podcast reflects real life: faith, grief, joy, exhaustion, laughter, and everything in between. I want all to feel welcome. We may not agree on everything, but we can listen with an open mind and respond with respect and kindness! We all have different ways of navigating this life.
