Meet the Host
I’m Amber, a mom raising my 10-year-old son who was born with congenital CMV (cCMV) and lives with autism, ADHD, unilateral hearing loss, and intellectual disabilities. I know firsthand what it’s like to navigate therapies, IEPs, medical systems, public outings, and the emotional weight that comes with parenting a child with complex needs.
My hope is rooted in God and my sanity relies heavily on humor (and sarcasm). This podcast reflects real life: faith, grief, joy, exhaustion, laughter, and everything in between. I want all to feel welcome. We may not agree on everything, but we can listen with an open mind and respond with respect and kindness! We all have different ways of navigating this life.
